Incoming

Accepted jam delivered within the specified filling conditions.

Handover

Filled and closed jars, pails or pouches ready for the validated next step.

Product path

Match dosing method, nozzles and valves to viscosity, stringing and fruit particles. Test fill accuracy and particle distribution across the beginning and end of a batch.

Package interface

Record container geometry, closure or seal design, headspace and allowable thermal conditions. Glass jars, lined pails and flexible pouches do not share one closure or cooling specification.

Acceptance

Check mass or volume basis, seal/closure integrity, stoppage behaviour, product retention and the downstream handling rate. Required thermal treatment belongs to the approved product-and-pack process.

Cleaning, access and operating limits

Plan nozzle and valve inspection, product recovery, splash control and cleaning of the package-contact area.

A filler speed or hot-fill label alone does not validate preservation.
